This is the license included as LICENSE in every download. The text below and the file in your zip are the same agreement; the file also names the product and version you bought.
This version took effect on October 6, 2026, and it also applies to every earlier order. If you bought before that date, your template is now licensed for unlimited projects too, even if the LICENSE file in your download still describes the previous single-use terms. Where the two differ, this page is the one that applies.
CuterDev is a trade name of Agustin Castets, who is the licensor throughout this document. “You” is the person or company that placed the order.
1. License Grant
The purchaser receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable and perpetual license to use the purchased template’s source code and design under these terms. Ownership and all intellectual property rights remain with Agustin Castets, the licensor.
Purchasing the files does not transfer ownership of the template itself. The license is perpetual, but access to the download is not: keep your own backup of the files after purchase.
2. Unlimited Projects
Each template license covers an unlimited number of projects and websites. They may belong to the purchaser or to the purchaser’s clients, and may be personal or commercial. Using the same template for another website, brand or client does not require another license.
A pack grants this same license for each template included in that pack.
Each project must be an end product: a website built for a specific person, company or brand. The license does not cover products that let other people build their own websites from the template — see section 4.
3. Permitted Use
The purchaser may:
- Install and use the template on as many projects as they want.
- Modify, adapt and create project-specific derivative work from its source code and design.
- Build personal or commercial websites.
- Build, deploy and hand over completed websites for any number of clients.
- Keep the source in private repositories, and deploy from them.
The license remains with the purchaser and cannot be assigned, sublicensed or transferred to another person or company. Clients receive the limited rights described in section 5.
4. Restrictions
The purchaser may not:
- Distribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, share, give away or transfer the template.
- Distribute the original, modified or derivative source as another template, theme, starter, library, service or downloadable product.
- Use the template in a website builder, theme marketplace, SaaS or any other product that lets end users create their own websites from it or from derivatives of it.
- Make the source available in a public repository or any platform that permits unauthorized download, extraction or reuse.
- Remove or alter the
LICENSEfile, or any copyright notice included with the product.
These restrictions apply whether the distribution is paid or free.
5. Client Projects
Client work is allowed, with no limit on the number of clients. Each client may own and operate the completed website built for them.
The purchaser may hand that client the source of their website, so the client or their developers can host and maintain it. The client may use that source only to run, update and maintain that one website. The client may not reuse it as a starting point for another site, and may not redistribute it. The purchaser keeps the license and may go on using the template in other projects.
6. Ownership
Agustin Castets retains all rights, title, copyright and intellectual property rights in the template, including after the purchaser modifies it. The purchaser owns their original content and project-specific work, but not the underlying template as a reusable product.
7. Third-Party Assets and Demo Content
Templates depend on third-party software — Astro, Tailwind, fonts, icon sets and similar — which is covered by its own license, not by this one. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to comply with those licenses.
Photographs, illustrations, logos, brand names and written copy used in the demo and in the screenshots are for demonstration only. They are not licensed with the template and must be replaced with the purchaser’s own content before the site goes live.
8. Termination
This license terminates automatically if the purchaser breaches any of its restrictions. On termination the purchaser must stop using the template and delete every copy of the source, including copies inside repositories and build artefacts. Sites already published under a valid license before the breach are not affected.
Termination does not entitle the purchaser to a refund, and it does not limit any other remedy available to the licensor.
9. No Warranty and Liability
Templates are provided as is, without express or implied warranties. CuterDev does not guarantee that a template will meet every requirement, remain compatible with future third-party software, operate without interruption or be error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, Agustin Castets is not liable for claims, damages, data loss, lost revenue or other liability arising from the template or its use. Total liability is capped at the amount paid for the template.
10. Refunds and Product Version
All sales are final once the digital assets have been made available or accessed. The purchase includes only the files and version available at checkout; future updates, patches, migrations, sections and releases are not included. See the Refund Policy.
11. Governing Law
This license is governed by the laws of Argentina. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be handled by the competent courts of the City of Buenos Aires, subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable law.
